I’ve been calling Paul Adelman for the last two years whenever I need my car serviced, and he has always been trustworthy, friendly, and professional. Not only does he do excellent work in person, but he’s even helped me out over the phone by diagnosing issues or answering my questions. It’s rare to find a mechanic who is so knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I highly recommend Paul for anyone looking for reliable and honest car service!

Paul is the best mechanic in the northbay. Ive been going to him for mechanical issues for 20+ years and I always recommend him to family or friends. he is very fast and if he is done early he wont charge u extra only for the amount of time he spent working on your vehicle. and he always finds what the problem is. and if there is something wrong with your car he cant fix he will recommend another place to take your vehicle to get it fixed. and to save u even more money he will call the parts shop and tell them what you need and have u pick buy the parts and pick them up yourself so u are only charged labor. no other place will do that for u. He is the most honest mechanic u will find and I will not take my vehicle to anyone else.

I called this morning and Paul was able to come on short notice to diagnose the issue with my car and was able to fix it for me this afternoon and for that I am grateful. Very thorough, reliable, able to diagnose and does a great job at explaining what the problem is to someone that has zero mechanical knowledge. affordable too!I highly recommend Adelman Auto!!! Car wouldn't start, we were in trouble. Paul offered to come and fix it at our house. We texted, got a quote, very reasonable and when we got it to start on our own he canceled without us giving notice. Very cool. Will use again.

Paul was fantastic to deal with. My car died on the road and would not start. I had to have it towed home.Paul was on time, and was moving. He almost ran back and forth between my car and his truck. He diagnosed the issue (distributor) quickly. He gave me the option to go get the part while he took the old one off, in order to save money on his hourly rate. I decided to replace it myself, so he recommended Smothers for the part, and walked me through how to replace it. He even got white-out to mark spots on the old one so I could line up the new one. His hourly rate is far less than any place I have taken my car before, and it was so great that he came to my house, so I didn't have to tow it to a garage. I will be using his service from now on. Highly recommended! Today I replaced the distributor and it stared right up.

Boy am I glad I called Paul. He really knows his stuff around auto repair that only decades of experience gives you. I had a difficult issue because a rat had eaten some critical engine wires.Instead of having to replace the whole wiring harness which would have cost many many $100.00's, Paul was able to splice them back together quickly for a fraction of the price. The truck is now running just fine. Having him come right to my house was great.He was punctual, did the job quickly quickly and was very Covid safe and conscious. I don't think I will ever go through the hassle and expense of a regular auto repair shop again. I HIGHLY recommend Adelman Mobile Auto repair.

Paul is the only person who has worked on my car during the last 15 years and will continue to be that person during the next 15. If I were to design the perfect auto mechanic, I would want someone who was knowledgeable, honest, punctual, available, concerned, thorough and a good communicator. Paul is all of those things... and more.
